Good paint with light swirls. One polishing pass for deep gloss — roughly 60-70% of light marks removed.
Moderate swirls, wash marring, light scratches. An aggressive cut then a refining polish — about 85-90% removal, mirror finish.
Heavy oxidation, faded or neglected paint, deeper scratches. Multi-stage cut and polish — around 95% removal.
